Friday Five: Books that Could Make Good Movies

There are some books that just lend themselves to a visual medium because the storytelling is so detailed, the characters are so vivid. These are movies I would like to see made into movies... soon!

  1. Sabriel of The Abhorsen Trilogy by Garth Nix
  2. Magic Kingdom for Sale- SOLD of The Magic Kingdom of Landover Series by Terry Brooks
  3. Good Omens by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaimon
  4. Lamb: The Gospel According to Biff, Christ's Childhood Pal by Christopher Moore
  5. Journey of Shadows of The Immortalis Trilogy by Dee Sutter teehee

Love is love, no matter the back story. <3 DS

I agree on 4 of those. Don't know the Nix one.

LAMB might be tricky as a movie. Maybe an HBO mini-series.

GOOD OMENS has been announced a dozen times since it came out. Still no movie.

I loved MAGIC KINGDOM! Would be an excellent film!

JOURNEY OF SHADOWS....Hmmmm....Let's see....Executive Producer sounds nice. AhEm!

As The Abhorsen Trilogy is my favorite series, I can't believe you still haven't read it. :P I will have to loan you my copy next time I come by. That is soon right? <3 DS

PS Ex. Prod. sounds good. Creative consultant also. Co-screenwriter as a 3rd. :D

Probably will be working through the weekend to catch up/get ahead on my various projects while getting money is briefly not a major issue. After that, despite a couple of appointments Rene has next week, we're open and would love to see you anytime. :)
