Sunday Scene: Buttercup Marries Humperdink BOOOO

I'm slightly obsessed with The Princess Bride. I wrote a piece about the movie and the book a while back. You can read it here. Anyways, so I love this movie. Below is a truncated version of my favorite scene. Interspersed through the marriage scenes are scenes of Fezzik, Inigo, and Westley bluffing their way into the castle. I had to do quite a bit of cut and paste to get the marriage scene together, otherwise this would have been a very long post! (Find the script I used to cut and paste this scene from here.)

BUTTERCUP

CLERGYMAN

Wow! I'd love to to paint the cover. But if your already working with a publisher I'm pretty sure they have a stable of artists they like to use. I don't know if they'd be open to the idea of working with someone they don't know but I guess that depends on the publisher.

I'm definitely interested, though. If your self publishing we can work out a rate that fits your budget. Let's chat some more.

It's late and you probably wont see this message until tomorrow. I'm full of coffee and have been working out the rough sketches for the Texas history comic book. I going to try to convince my brain it's time for some shut-eye so I can get a few hours sleep. I'll check my blog in the mid-morning for a reply. Goodnight.
